"In conjunction with the Kids Help Phone, Tru Kings Records has been touring through Montreal and its surrounding areas, performing at high schools. The concerts are designed to raise awareness of issues within schools, such as racism, violence, peer pressure and depression.
Going on their third year, the 2009 Music With Meaning tour will include performances by Tru Kings' artist M'City Solo and special guests like Bad News Brown, DJ Blaster and Pamela.
Giving back to the community is one of Tru Kings' biggest priorities. Performers and their representatives take time between concerts to speak to students about struggles they might face and how they can use the Kids Help Line to get through them. " -musicwithmeaning.ca
